The third quarter of 2022 saw significant activity among the top communication apps in Spain. Here’s a closer look at the performance of Telegram, WhatsApp Messenger, Messenger, Snapchat, and Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out.

Telegram experienced fluctuating weekly revenue throughout the quarter, starting at around $891 and peaking at $2.2K in the week of September 19. Weekly downloads showed a steady upward trend, reaching a high of nearly 99K in early September. Active users saw a gradual increase from approximately 4.2M at the beginning of the quarter to around 4.4M by mid-September.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a consistent performance with weekly downloads ranging between 64K and 79K. Its active user base remained robust, growing from around 30M to over 30.2M by the end of the quarter.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out had a stable revenue performance, with weekly earnings ranging from $5.7K to $9.7K. The app's downloads varied between 29K and 38K, while active users saw minor fluctuations, maintaining an average of around 1.5M throughout the quarter.
